How do you view video content while at home, or on the road?
As we are presented with many options for viewing content, I find I am using more then one solution for viewing video content while at home and especially when on the road. How about you? Which solutions do you use and more importantly, tell us how and why you use them.

What about iTunes, Democracy player (now Miro), Joost...? After all, Akimbo dropped their set-top service (leaving me with a lifetime subscription to nothing); Tivo is basically for television people, not so much the net setters of the world; and I have yet to hear anyone raving about the others featured. Where are all the players that people use to watch my programs? None of them are listed.

I-Tunes are geared more for portable devices as opposed to these other offerings listed or Apple-TV, which are more for home-based viewing.
Tivo has come a ways and with their deal with Amazon, you can now download movies as well as some episodic shows. I have also been using Netflix which has free downloads as part of their paid service.
Joost and other platforms such as www.fanfare.com are still rather new for most people and the poll could change on a monthly basis as there are new entrance, it was a slice of life at that time, thanks for your comments.
