For Your Imagination Selected to Expand Reach of Popular Online Series Break a Leg

NEW YORK, August 7, 2007 – For Your Imagination, an original online video programming company has formed an eighteen-month agreement to manage and market the popular web series, Break a Leg, created by Late Again Films, a San Francisco-based production company. Under the terms of the agreement, For Your Imagination will help develop the show, broaden the distribution and syndication of each episode and promote the brand through advertising, sponsorship, merchandising, franchising and licensing opportunities.

Break a Leg is an original sitcom series created by brothers Vlad and Yuri Baranovsky, which premiered online in November 2006. The show follows David Penn, a writer who just landed his first sitcom deal, GROOMMATES, due to the untimely death of the writer/creator of the previous hit. In the pilot, viewers are introduced to David about to meet the same fate as his predecessor. Guided by David's narration, viewers are taken back in time to explore the bizarre circumstances leading up to his murder. The quality of the production offers a viewing experience that mirrors the best of television programming.

The For Your Imagination creative team redesigned the Break a Leg website, which now features new content such as behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the cast. The web site will also be optimized to increase exposure and ensure higher ranking in natural search results. Through For Your Imagination’s signature online marketing methodology called ADDForce™, the Break a Leg promotional efforts will be targeted towards specific online influencers through blog-based and social media marketing.

“We are thrilled to add a hit like Break a Leg to our lineup of new shows. This is the first web series we're promoting that we have not produced ourselves,” said Paul Kontonis, the CEO of For Your Imagination. “With its following and our marketing and distribution expertise, we expect to broaden the show’s viewer base and bring it to a mass audience."

“We were eager to collaborate with For Your Imagination’s creative team and leverage their current initiatives in marketing made-for-web content,” said Yuri Baranovsky, co-creator and co-producer of Break a Leg. “With the space growing and the right approach, we see the potential for our show to garner an even bigger audience. We feel confident that For Your Imagination can help us achieve our goal.”

The first six webisodes of Break a Leg are hosted on www.breakaleg.tv, and are also available on Veoh, Blip.TV, YouTube, MySpace and Metacafe. New episodes of the show will begin on October 1st.
