Nortel and Ethos Networks to Strengthen Connection Oriented Ethernet

London, 15 April 2008: Ethos Networks, a pioneer in connection oriented
Ethernet solutions, today announced that it has successfully completed
extensive interoperability testing with Nortel's Provider Backbone
Bridging Traffic Engineering equipment (PBB-TE) to boost Ethernet
capabilities for carriers and service providers. This announcement
follows testing by the two companies at Nortel's laboratory facilities
in Ottawa, Canada.

During the testing Ethos' deterministic end-to-end Network Management
System (NMS), part of the Ethos Carrier PBB-TE solution, managed and
monitored a Nortel PBB-TE network. PBB-TE is a key carrier Ethernet
technology pioneered by Nortel and being adopted in the industry to
deliver reliable Ethernet services. The two companies demonstrated
advanced capabilities that compliment PBB-TE technology as the transport
for Next Generation Networks.

Ethos FCAPS NMS and Nortel PBB-TE network interoperability included
managing and monitoring a PBB-TE network, including service & trunk
management. As a result of the extensive testing, Ethos' solution was
awarded the Carrier Ethernet Ecosystem certificate of compatibility.

Dr. Yuval Davidor, co-founder and CEO of Ethos Networks, explains:
"Carrier networks are becoming increasingly complex and complicated to
operate. Addressing this issue is one of PBB-TE's strong points. We
demonstrated several capabilities that not only simplify network
administration but can take carrier networks further. One example is how
we can combine PBB-TE's centralized control plane with Ethos
provisioning technology.

"The result is a multi-constraint provisioning that goes beyond path
selection, taking into account business aspects of services such as cost
of delivery, the prediction of bottlenecks and oversubscription and the
suggestion of optimal solutions. With a centralized control plane,
provisioning processes can be taken much further. We actually have it
all: offline powerful provisioning, rapid service deployments, global
and local optimization. Whilst we originally developed these
capabilities for Ethos' Dynamic TE Switches, the fact that they work
successfully with the products of two different PBB-TE vendors, is
testament to the virtues of PBB-TE technology."

"The Carrier Ethernet Ecosystem testing just completed with Ethos
Networks, demonstrates the momentum Nortel is seeing in the industry to
take advantage of Ethernet as a solution that is cost effective, simple
to use, and has the ability to grow network capacity as demand
increases," said Mike Adams, vice president of strategy and
architecture, Metro Ethernet Networks, Nortel . "Clearly the ability to
optimize the network as demonstrated with the Ethos Networks solution
will be a compelling value proposition to service providers looking to
scale their multi-vendor networks as PBT-enabled carrier Ethernet is
rapidly adopted worldwide."

TREMOR MEDIA LAUNCHES ACUDEO - THE NEXT GENERATION ONLINE VIDEO MONETIZATION PLATFORM.

Tremor_media.jpg

New York - April 15, 2008 - Tremor Media (www.tremormedia.com), the leading online video advertising network, today announced that it has launched the beta version of Acudeo, their next generation Video Monetization Platform. Acudeo solves the complexities involved with video ad delivery and provides a solution that offers the same ease and ad server compatibility that publishers are accustomed to for their banner advertising. Acudeo allows publishers to schedule and dynamically deliver in-stream video and overlay ads from multiple ad sources through one central console, maximizing ad delivery opportunities and revenue.

Acudeo is built to allow publishers to leverage their existing ad operations and technology infrastructure with minimal operational effort. The Acudeo platform integrates with content management systems and playlists as well as multiple ad servers, giving publishers the power to implement the optimal video monetization strategy and user experience. Acudeo's support for multiple ad formats and sources enables publishers to easily add additional sources of revenue as their needs grow, extending their own ad sales efforts through Tremor Media as well as additional ad networks and sources.

Working with hundreds of online publishers, Tremor Media repeatedly encountered a lack of standards in online video advertising that prevented sites from maximizing their video inventory. As leaders in the video advertising industry and members of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Digital Video Committee, Tremor launched Acudeo to be the first platform that ensures compliance with the newly-released IAB Digital Video Ad Format Guidelines. This will help publishers simplify the process, standardize their workflow and operations for efficiency and implement industry best practices for delivery and playback, measurement, ad tracking, billing and reporting.

"Tremor's Acudeo Monetization Platform gives us the flexibility we need to maximize our in-stream ad sales efforts," said Neal Weinberg, President, Sales and Marketing, Top TV Bytes. "Acudeo's support for pre-roll and overlay formats allows us to monetize each stream we deliver without interrupting the user's enjoyment of our content, and still give them the opportunity to interact with our advertisers' messages when they choose to."

Acudeo launch partner Dragonfly is an Internet video delivery solution provider that enables businesses to build new revenue and retention programs around picture perfect, full screen video with up to HD quality and advanced analytics. "In addition to providing our publishers with a high-definition capable player, Tremor's Acudeo brings ROI through advertising to our publishers from day one," said Guy Nouri, Dragonfly CEO.

The Acudeo platform incorporates a number of innovative features developed specifically to help publishers maximize revenue from their video content. The Acudeo ad component provides an alternative to the full platform for publishers who want to integrate Acudeo's monetization functionality into their existing video applications. Acudeo also features advanced ad rotation and cascading ad tag capabilities that allow publishers to define an unlimited number of failover tags. As previously announced, Tremor Media has incorporated Google's AdSense for Video into the Acudeo platform and has recently added a number of other revenue sources for publishers.

Tremor Media's network is comprised of over 800 top- and mid-tier publishers and content producers, and reaches more than 97 million unique users every month. Tremor Media also ranked #6 in comScore's February VideoMetrix Ad-Focus report. For the beta launch of Acudeo, announced partners include Broadcast Interactive Media, Dragonfly, TopTVBytes, and The Enthusiast Network.

Amino Ranked World Leader in Pure IPTV Set-Top Box Market

Cambridge, UK - April 10, 2008 - Amino, the world leading IPTV platform supplier, has been named as the top vendor of pure IPTV Set-Top Boxes (STBs) worldwide by ABI Research for the third consecutive year.

Amino has recently been ranked as the world leader in a new classification from ABI Research entitled 'Pure IPTV'. The focus of this segmentation is to classify and separate 'Pure IPTV' and 'Hybrid IPTV' services. The latter typically involves a traditional broadcast service (terrestrial, satellite or cable), coupled with IP for limited interactivity and for VOD.

Making the transition from Hybrid to Pure IPTV requires that the deployed equipment has sufficient IP capability to handle all service requirements. Some hybrid systems currently available do not have the IPTV technology elements to do this.

"We are very pleased to be recognized as the leading manufacturer of Pure IPTV STBs by ABI Research. For several years ABI Research has led the way in publishing comprehensive research and analysis of the IPTV domain, including detailed segmentation of the market," said Bob Giddy, CEO at Amino. "We are delighted that ABI Research will now include Hybrid IPTV vs. Pure IPTV as one of the axes of segmentation, differentiating 'enhanced broadcast' from the more radical and innovative 'everything over IP' approach."

Cesar Bachelet, Senior Analyst, Multi-Channel Video at ABI Research, commented, "The STB is particularly important when it comes to assembling an end-to-end IPTV solution, since it represents a significant proportion of the per-customer CapEx. If hybrid is seen as an interim technology, then what happens when the delivery mechanism switches entirely to the IP domain? Service providers must ask this question when selecting an STB. It's for this reason that ABI Research has begun to separate Hybrid IPTV and Pure IPTV STBs in its detailed research, with the latter increasing in importance as the value of IP-centric IPTV solutions continues to grow."
