San Francisco, CA - November 21, 2008 - Forget holograms, the next real video breakthrough is here from Internet video pioneers Revision3 and BitGravity. On November 21st at 6 p.m. EST, Revision3 will unveil a one of a kind episode of its hit show, providing a unique, interactive way for viewers to watch hosts Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht discuss the week's top stories from Digg.com.

Using breakthrough technology from Internet video network BitGravity, fans will get to choose from five simultaneous and separate video streams, putting them in control of what they watch. Episode #177--"Your Diggnation Remix"

"Diggnation was the first successful social video program featuring some of the top content voted on by the Digg community," said Jim Louderback, CEO, Revision3. "Now we're taking that to the next logical level, letting viewers control camera angles and other elements of the viewing experience. It's a brand new and revolutionary way to give our viewers even more control, and more ownership, of the programs they love."

"Internet users have these amazing computers and high speed Internet connections; there's no reason we have to replicate what we see on TV over the Internet--we have the opportunity to change the experience, play with new ideas, and allow available technology to take us to the next step. We're here to enable innovation and change the way people get their entertainment--it's pretty amazing what can be done by simply having fun with our API," said Barrett Lyon, CTO and co-founder of BitGravity.

The full-on experience of "Your Diggnation Remix" will be available online at http://www.revision3.com/remix. The director's cut of the show will be available for viewers to view and download through the show's web site at www.diggnation.com, and Revision3's 40 distribution partners. For more information on BitGravity's network and APIs, go to www.bitgravity.com/interactive.

An irreverent weekly tech/web culture show hosted by tech geeks/pop culture gurus Alex Albrecht and Kevin Rose, Diggnation was launched in 2005. PERMISSIONTV AND MOVE NETWORKS PARTNER TO OFFER HD-QUALITY, INTERACTIVE VIDEO PLATFORM

PermissionTV_Logo.jpg

PermissionTV, a leading online video platform provider, and Move Networks, a leading provider of Internet television services, today announced a strategic reseller and integration partnership. Under the agreement, both companies will offer an integrated platform, which enables the rapid creation and deployment of rich, interactive, HD-quality video applications, such as those successfully implemented by their initial joint customers, Fox On Demand and the Metropolitan Opera.

The integration of Move Networks' HD-quality video streaming solution and PermissionTV's interactive video application platform allows entertainment and media companies to quickly create and deploy next generation, online video experiences that match the quality standards users expect from television, with the increased engagement, interactivity and integration benefits provided by the Web. Move Networks' proven video technologies and services enable leading media companies such as ABC, ESPN, Fox and the CW to deliver live and on-demand HD programming to millions of viewers without the buffering, stalling and poor quality viewing experiences common with competing technologies.

The integration of PermissionTV's video platform and APIs with Move's adaptive streaming technology allows entertainment, media, publishing and marketing companies to quickly deploy HD video applications - from raw video to customized player experiences - in hours, not days or weeks. The joint product integration also enables a deeper level of customization with third party services such as advertising, search, geo-targeting, commerce, subscription management and analytics. The PermissionTV platform has already enabled integrations with such providers as Doubleclick Dart, Google AdSense, Real Media OAS, Entriq, Collarity, Quigo, Hitbox and Omniture.

"As the leader in adaptive HD streaming technology with an impressive media and entertainment client base, Move Networks is a perfect partner for PermissionTV," said Bob Lentz, CEO of PermissionTV. "Move is leading the evolution of Internet TV by transforming Web video to HD quality experiences. With PermissionTV's SmartPlayerTM technology platform, we're now able to deliver on the next phase of TV 2.0 - interactivity."

"Consumer demand for quality online video content is growing rapidly, and we are always looking for ways to accelerate the delivery of premium online video experiences to a broader audience," said John Edwards, CEO of Move Networks. "Partnering with PermissionTV allows Move Networks to offer turnkey HD video solutions to a much wider array of entertainment and media companies. We expect to see a significant increase in the number of content owners deploying HD video programming in the coming months."

3ple-Media Brings Interactive Mobile Video Advertising on Stream

3pieMedia_logo.jpg

Mobile Multimedia specialist, 3ple-Media, has enhanced its award winning Mercury mobile multimedia platform to include the embedding of advertising into mobile video clips and video streams.

Pioneering functionality enables insertion of pre-roll, post-roll and in-stream advertising, all customizable according to the requirements of the advertiser and the type of inventory in use. Moreover, the embedded advertising is interactive; for example a post-roll call to action can be clicked on to take the participant to a follow on mobile multimedia experience such as a Mobisite, a new video stream or an SMS/MMS push of information to the handset. This integrates mobile video advertising into the wider digital marketing mix while providing immediate metrics to the advertiser, content provider and mobile operator.

Internet video advertising is now the fastest-growing online advertising sector. In 2007, the US Interactive Advertising Bureau and PwC reported the US online video market at $324 million. They expect this to rise to $505m in 2008 and annual growth to reach 78.9% in 2012. Concurrently, all new mobile phones are now mobile data capable and broadband on mobile has finally arrived. Recent research by Kelsey Group in October 2008 shows that 1 in 5 people in the US & Western Europe now own a Smart Phone.

StJohn Deakins, CCO of 3ple-Media says "The richer and more engaging the user experience, the higher the acquisition and conversion potential for mobile advertising. Consumption of video online has become mass market and consumers are increasingly taking this behavior to the mobile screen. Interestingly the current economic climate may actually accelerate the trend as in past downturns consumers have increased spend on entertainment like movies while reducing big ticket expenditure. When subsidized with advertising, mobile video is the ultimate in affordable, personal entertainment."

The Mercury mobile multimedia platform provides an intuitive interface for mobile multimedia service creation, compilation, advertising management, distribution, tracking and billing. User accounts are customized for 3rd parties who then distribute content and advertising via a variety of mobile data channels such as SMS, MMS, WAP, USSD and video, all of which are included on the modular platform. Multimedia content is automatically formatted and can be dynamically routed according to the capabilities of the receiving device. The Mercury DataTrack and ViralTrack modules provide real time reporting of content and advertising consumption as it is received acted on and forwarded around a network. The SubProfile database provides aggregated profiling information based on preferences and behavior for accurate profiling and efficient targeting. Mercury applications such as SMS2MMS and MyTV, a user generated video content portal, provide additional rich media advertising inventory to the Mobile Operator.

CDNetworks Announces Beta Program for Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5 Software Delivery Platform

cdnetworks_logo.gif

CDNetworks (KOSDAQ: 073710), a top-three global, full-service content delivery network (CDN), today announced the launch of its early beta program for the CDNetworks' implementation of Adobe® Flash® Media Server 3.5 software. This program builds on the success of CDNetworks' early adoption and widespread deployment of Flash Media Server 3 and demonstrates CDNetworks' commitment to collaborate with Adobe and embrace the Flash Platform, focusing on online video streaming delivery.

Key customers have been selected from CDNetworks' installed base of Flash Media Server 3 customers, including Lycos Cinema and Jaman, for the beta installation of Flash Media Server 3.5 software.

The upcoming release of Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5 software adds significant new functionality to Adobe's scalable, real-time media server. Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5 helps improve the delivery quality with Dynamic Streaming technology for efficiently helping to manage the flow of multiple bit rate streaming media for both live and pre-recorded media. Dynamic Streaming will help end users have the best viewing experience possible for their particular internet connection. Additionally, this release includes improved support for H.264 and digital video recorder (DVR) functionality, which allows Live Streams to be captured and stored at the ingress point, enabling users to pause and seek within a live video stream.

Lycos Cinema, an early adopter of CDNetworks' Adobe Flash Media Server 3 implementation along with other CDNetworks' content delivery technologies, provides a high-quality video community social viewing experience for its users. Use of the combined Adobe and CDNetworks technologies has enabled new business models for Lycos Cinema, including video on demand premium rentals, and has provided an easier approach to content publication at reduced costs. Based on the success of the Adobe Flash Media Server 3, Lycos has signed up as an early beta customer for Adobe Flash Media Server 3.5.

Jaman, an online movie service that provides thousands of movies to download, own, or watch free instantly online, uses CDNetworks' implementation of Adobe Flash Media Server 3 for fast and easy movie streaming and downloads to millions of visitors.
