Las Vegas, January 8, 2008 -- Move Networks, the leader in Internet television services, today announced that it is optimizing its media player with a simplified user interface for Intel® Atom™ processor based Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) and Netbooks, allowing consumers to quickly access high quality Internet television whether at home or on the go. Intel and Move Networks will be demonstrating the new viewer-friendly Internet television interface for these mobile devices at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week.

As media consumption becomes increasingly mobile, Move Networks has worked to optimize the quality and multi-screen accessibility of Internet television. Building on Move Networks' August 2008 announcement of support for Intel Atom processor- based MIDs, Move is now showcasing its MID and Netbook-optimized user interface making it even easier for people to find and play the Internet television programming that they want while on-the-go.

Meeting Consumer Demand for Anywhere, Anytime Internet Television

Internet television programmers and distributors can take advantage of the Intel-based MID and Netbook platforms to deliver higher quality and more engaging, Internet television experiences to viewers across multiple screens.

Whether they are standing on the street holding a pocket-sized MID, relaxing on their couch watching a 56-inch plasma digital TV, or sitting at their desk looking at their laptop, viewers will be able to more easily access and watch Internet television programming with quality that is similar to, if not better than, traditional television.

"Technologies from companies such as Intel are transforming television, turning it into a medium where viewer choice is never compromised by quality," said John Edwards, CEO, Move Networks. "Intel's advanced MID and CE platforms are moving us one step closer towards a world where television programmers and distributors can deliver high-quality Internet television programming to a screen on any Internet-connected device."

"Internet television access on mobile devices will increasingly become mainstream. As Internet TV shifts from PCs to always connected mobile devices like MIDs and Netbooks, consumers will be able to access high quality content wherever they go," said Pankaj Kedia, director of global ecosystem programs in the Ultra Mobility Group at Intel Corporation. "By bringing together Intel's high performance Atom processor and the Moblin-based OS with Move Networks' advanced Internet television delivery technology and services, we are providing consumers with more choices and access to Internet video content."
