ENVYSION INTRODUCES NEW SERVICE FEATURES AND EXPANDS MVAAS PLATFORM WITH IP AND MEGAPIXEL CAMERA SUPPORT

envy_tagline.jpg

LOUISVILLE, Colo., February 9, 2009 -- Envysion(TM) Inc., (www.envysion.com) the leading Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS) provider, today announced several new features that further its leadership position within the MVaaS market. At a time in the market when both customers and video providers alike are cutting back on resources, Envysion continues to deliver valuable enhancements to its MVaaS platform that help existing and prospective customers improve profitability without significant capital or resource requirements.

The company's MVaaS offering continues to reshape the traditional video surveillance market by leveraging the latest in both camera and Internet capabilities. As MVaaS is based on the Software as a Service (SaaS) software deployment model, Envysion is able to instantly deliver these new capabilities to its entire customer base, while minimizing IT impact by eliminating software upgrade and version control challenges and protecting customers against technology obsolescence.

Inspired by its customers, Envysion's newest features will further enhance users' ability to drive increased productivity and profitability without incremental IT challenges. The new features include:

• Usage Statistics: Analyze your organization's utilization of the Envysion services to ensure adoption, focus training efforts and drive profitability. Video services are only valuable if they are operational and being utilized. Envysion provides real-time statistics on both system availability and enterprise-wide user activity, enabling customers to ensure they are earning the return they expect.

• IP and Megapixel Video: Utilize IP, megapixel and analog camera technologies on a single platform, with the full capabilities of Managed Video as a Service. Envysion now supports analog, IP and megapixel cameras across its entire video platform. Unlike traditional video platforms, Envysion's dynamic bandwidth throttling enables customers full remote access to Megapixel cameras without requiring a major bandwidth upgrade.

• MyGroups: Securely and effortlessly share and collaborate on video for the first time from across the enterprise without incremental IT requirements. Leveraging a concept that is synonymous with the leading social networking services, MyGroups allows customers to easily share video from any location within the enterprise by creating user groups and "inviting" colleagues to view and comment on specific video clips that are stored in a secure datacenter. This capability is an industry first and will fundamentally change how video can be used in an organization.
