Solaiemes is a mobile start-up focused on delivering live handset to web experiences, this via their web page widget pushed through custom configured servers. Currently, only operating in Europe, they are positioning themselves for the U.S when upstream speeds improve beyond 64 kbps. They see market opportunities in law enforcement and real estate however, other ideas would certainly develop.

Solaiemes is a technology start-up focused in mobility at "network side". We are based on Madrid, Spain. The company was created at the end of 2006, by six founders. The funding until now were the own founders money, a public soft-loan and a VC investment at the end of 2007 of EURECAN (the VC branch of Spanish savings bank CajaNavarra). All this concepts rise 1 M €. Solaiemes is focused in developing telecom infrastructure in two branches,

a) mobile multimedia SIP/IMS based to create a real convergence between mobile and internet spaces, and adding value to the "upload content use cases", not only download. The name of this product line is LIVESERVE.

b) Mobile usability, we believe in avoiding mobile applications to be installed, we create technology with the target of making mobile browser even mid-tier handsets will be enough to create usable mobile CRM as mobile banking, even with multimodality (interaction with voice). This product line is labeled as AVISG.

Right now, several carriers are launching VideoShare as a commercial service for their WCDMA (3G UMTS) networks, and with Solaiemes technologies they could use that not only for mobile to mobile use cases, but a lot of mass market use cases and enterprise/corporate solutions as ERP based on multimedia flows.

During the 18 months of company life, we were distinguished with several mentions: named Global Innovators by Guidewire Group, shorlisted as one of Top Innovators by GSMA during the Asia Mobile Congress, got an Entrepreneurship Awards by Spanish bank Bancaja and recently shorlisted finalist at Red Herring 100 Top Europe.

In next future Solaiemes will become one of the reference companies in telecom infrastructure in the mobile/convergence space, and have ambitious plans to expand our solutions. We will need funding round.
